ABSTRACT
The list is long but not to be named here. We can all name a few from our own experience or folklore, and it is a long list. The hall of fame inductees don’t need to be named here because we see them in action every day. Each week, politicians drop out of the race based on documented bad behavior. Every day, a C-level executive is indicted for illegal actions. Professional athletes are suspended for hitting girlfriends or using illegal substances. The well never runs dry. There is a lesson in their journeys that applies to the workplace. The lesson is that careers are ruined, not built, through bad behavior.
