ABSTRACT

No one should be without a personal brand. Or at least that is what everyone is telling us. The guy in the cubicle down the hall told me he spent all weekend working on his personal brand, and I wonder what he did. When I hear about branding my mind heads toward Super Bowl commercials and Bud Light and Pringles and trying to sell more all the time. If we have a personal brand, what are we selling? What does it mean? If we don’t have one, should we feel guilty? Are we failures?
