ABSTRACT
I love birth announcements. Each one is a billboard of happiness and hope and joy. One thing I’ve noticed on announcements in the Internet era is that, well, the names are a little weird. Gone are John and Susan. Traditional names are being replaced by names full of unusual combinations of letters adding up to names I’ve never heard before. The middle names can stretch to make another two or three unrecognizable words.
