ABSTRACT
Most college students have heard about the concept of sexuality and gender as existing on spectrums, but many are confused about what exactly that means, how it works, and how they can talk about it without accidentally being offensive. I have been lucky enough to have friends who are experts on gender and sexual identities and are professional speakers on the topic. Fortunately, they have been patient with me over the years and have helped me understand the issues. I am going to pass along their valuable teachings here.
