ABSTRACT

The fear of being forgotten may be universal among humans, particu larly among the childless. Remembering is an important act by a friend. Memory cannot be disenfranchised. Some friendorbits have the equivalent of the official “rememberer.” It is important for friends to remember realistically. Some friends will need a clinician’s assist ance in order to develop a cherishable memory. The clinician may not only give permission to remember, but also suggest creative ways to remember.
