ABSTRACT
This chapter will start out with an explanation of why some of the most exciting discoveries in recent times have occurred at the intersections of traditional disciplines. Examples of successful interdisciplinary undergraduate research seminars will follow, complete with samples of student projects and resulting publications. The conclusion will show the benefits many students and professors have enjoyed from such collaborations.
