Reception of the United States model in the experiences of several European countries

The US model of promotion and protection of the right to religious freedom has also influenced other countries. This chapter analyzes policy and legal developments in Italy, France, and the United Kingdom, showing how the US model has been taken into account by these states and how they differ from the United States in their approach.
