ABSTRACT

In the fall of 1963, a group of businessmen climbed aboard a twin-engine Beachwood Queen Air turboprop and took off over a sultry Florida swamp just south of Orlando. They had been on a lengthy trip with stops earlier in St. Louis, Niagara Falls, and the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., region. Their days on the road were coming to a close, and after this last fl ight they would be heading home to California.
