ABSTRACT

Surrounding yourself with the right people is essential to achieving peer advantage. However, when it comes to finding peers who will help you accelerate, ask yourself two questions: Is a specific peer advisory group right for you, and will you be a good fit for the group? It has to be a win-win. This involves exploring how well you may be suited to giving and receiving value in this kind of forum. Peer advantage doesn’t come cheap, but if you share strong group values, set clear goals, commit yourself to the other members by giving and receiving, and appreciate all the benefits, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish.
