ABSTRACT
The idea that failure is an integral part of one’s professional journey is not new. We talk about embracing failure, learning from failure, celebrating failure-all kinds of positive verbs are associated with the idea of things not working out. We have the right idea, but it’s just that-an idea. However much we talk about the value of failure, we behave very differently in practice.
