ABSTRACT

Ambition is strong desire, for good or bad. Alexander the Great had his ambition, but so did Michelangelo. Two different ambitions, two different results: to conquer or to create. I wonder whose fruits have endured? Ambition is a word that implies some sort of forward direction and sense of desired achievement. Real ambition carries with it a certain sense of what is right, it’s an ambition that is for the collective good and that benefits all those who are involved or are touched by its movement. Real ambition is the human desire to create something good where nothing existed before. It is a measure of your worth, and that of your organization. It’s a key element of what makes people follow you.
