ABSTRACT

In recent decades, as computer access has become ubiquitous, great attention

has focused on the accessibility of computer and information technologies.

With the casting of the World Wide Web, the Internet-previously a character-

driven, command-line interface-became a barrier-ridden sea for people with

disabilities using computers. Ironically, technological advances and proliferation

of web content resulted in regressions in connectedness for tech-savvy users

with disabilities.
