Whenapersonisgrievingthemostbasictaskofthesupportive environmentissimplytoprovideopportunitiesforthepersonto safelyexperiencehisorhergrief.Creatingsocialandinterpersonal environments,orcreatingclinicalgriefprocessingenvironments, whereaperson'sgriefisrecognizedandmeaningfullyrespectedasa vulnerability-facilitatesthemourningprocess.Supportingaperson intheirgrief,inveryabasicsense,simplymeanstorecognize,andto validateinawaythatsupportstheperson'sexperienceoftheirloss, and,thatsupportstheperson'sexperienceofthemselvesingrieving.
