ABSTRACT

Sweden can certainly be proud of its work in information and communications technology (ICT). Work life changes as organizations become networked. Direct communication becomes possible, and the barriers between ideas and execution disappear. The topic of international collaboration and communication in various forms, primarily in the widespread use of Internet and web technology, has become an important component of sustainability in workplaces in the ICT society. The basic thinking reflected in the communication circle turned out to be applicable throughout the continuing technology phases and became fundamental at the introduction and use of the Internet and collaboration in a distributed work environment. The widespread use of social media during the last few years has dominated the debate on ICT and social and societal change. Creating robots that are human-like is a hot area in computer science and medicine. ICT applications promote short-term rewards and feedback, which seems to be attractive to human nature.
