ABSTRACT
The chapter begins with some clarification of gender versus sexuality, which are sometimes used in a confusing way or even as the same matter. Even if we can agree that sexual scripts are culturally and socially constructed, the author brings forward several scholars who have importantly captured sexuality in the ethicized frame, attributing the sexual behavior and patterns of people living in the Balkans to very specific and even tribalistic characteristics.
