The chapter presents the author’s experience in applying the art-based research methodology in order to investigate alternative narratives of sexuality and also women survivors’ critical positioning toward the leading victimhood narratives, where they appear (only) as a unified collective. By applying different drama techniques as body expression, working with sound and voice, space movement and so forth, the author shows how this alternative research approach helped to build the trust between the researcher and the research participants, and how the long-term commitment that goes beyond one-hour interviews created a space where open and comfortable debate on women’s post-rape sexuality was enabled.
