ABSTRACT

The author briefly presents the idea of continuation of the engagement between survivors as research participants and her as a researcher. The idea of a final performance of women survivors testifying in front of the audience and the project placed in the former concentration camp was built by all participating, partly also to overcome the continuous financial issues that women face. Even though the author tries to argue the idea that women survivors should ‘voice’ their stories on their own and not with agents or other narrators speaking in their names, she closes the book with sharing her own experience and why this would still present a huge challenge for the women survivors.
