ABSTRACT
Great workplaces are rare. We explore the characteristics of great workplaces and how they might be developed. We also discuss the importance of organizational culture, purpose and values and how positive cultures of abundance contribute to creating organizations that are perceived as positive. Great workplaces take into account employee wellbeing and the role of active design in supporting wellness.
