ABSTRACT

This chapter talks about the tasks how the learners of Japanese students can reach particular location. The student can ask their Language partners (LP) for directions to a nearby location such as the university library, a well-known Japanese restaurant near campus, or a bookstore. The chapter also explains how they should follow the directions to reach the location. By taking a picture of themselves at their destination where they are and they can send it to their instructor. The students can use online tools to look up the location of a place that has not yet been to, such as a shopping mall, park, or museum. After getting a general idea of where the place is located, students can ask their LP to tell them how to get there. The chapter then explains the tasks such as how to – give directions, take a taxi, explore the train system and the bus system.
