ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at managing project time within the context of your other degree studies. Sound time management is a precious skill and one which will be particularly valuable to you as you try to balance the different components of your studies. This book is not a manual of time management techniques and this chapter is not bulging with mind games or magic answers. In Chapter 5 we’ll consider in more detail how to manage the time and effort you put into the different parts of the project itself, but for now the focus is on time planning and your attitude towards it. Happily, improved time management skills will turn out to be an inevitable consequence of carrying out your research project. This is guaranteed.
