ABSTRACT
This book has argued for the existence of a body of creative works in recent British literature and cinema that expresses the distinctive identities of British South Asian women. These creative products explore the issues of hyphenated identities, which are interwoven within the actual structure through motifs and the assimilation of untranslated words within texts.
