ABSTRACT
In fact there is a great deal of coordination and planning needed to make any audit programme work. Although much of this is not carried out by the audit team themselves but as part of audit programme management, since it is a necessary part of the process it is important that we address it here. And, of course, some of its elements, such as the audit scope and the investigation procedures, directly affect what the audit team will do.
