ABSTRACT

Members of Generation X will remember their first at-home video-game experiences, as they migrated from darkened arcades to their living rooms and played on black-and-white screens. From this grey world the audience for digital entertainment has grown and grown, but it is with Generation Y (born between the early 1980s and the early 2000s) that we see an audience familiar with digital gaming that has also migrated from arcade machines to embrace the emerging game-console scene.
