ABSTRACT

Abstract: This article presents a case study analysis of the ethnic tourism practice at Wanuskewin Heritage Park, which is located in Saskatoon City in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. The analysis is based on semi-structured and unstructured interviews with individuals from the nation-state, the tourism business, and the featured ethnic groups. Further, field notes and printed documents were used as supplementary data sources. The focus of attention is directed toward the park's current development process, sociocultural issues, and strategies of resolving the issues. The main goal of this study is to provide insights into the sustainable development of the park.
