This chapter will help you produce any type of portfolio or journal, diary or blog: written, visual, electronic.
Some subject areas (e.g. art; design; architecture) have always used portfolios or journals to show examples of work, for learning and assessment. Other subject areas are newer to the idea. Journals have been used for specific activities (e.g. placements), but are now more widely used.
