Let’s think about great companies again. The organisations that outperform others on multiple levels don’t just have high levels of understanding. They’re also intentional about building emotional connections and commitment among employees. Think about it from your own experience: when have you been a ‘baseline’ saver, and when have you been looking to ‘invest more for a higher rate of savings return’? Knowing what’s required is important, but in many cases, we need the next level to become a more serious saver.
