ABSTRACT

Although every attempt has been made to explain any special terms as they are introduced, some may have been missed. Also it is felt that for any bid a glossary of terms is always of help to the reader. The aim of this book is to get the reader to buy into managing bids in a more effective way, so in part this book is a bid itself. So, here is the glossary of phrases, acronyms and abbreviations used in this book. There is no prize for spotting any that have been left out, but feel free to write them in yourself at the end.
