ABSTRACT

There are many different approaches and aids to doing this and some are contained within this book. The skills which a team needs to carry out meaningful reviews are not easy to acquire because they depend upon the development of some of the other characteristics explained earlier. For instance, both openness and trust are needed in ample quantities if the exercise is to be realistic. These skills and the willingness to use them can be encouraged by stressing the really positive contribution which regular review can make. Review can often be carried out during and after the completion of a task and once the skills have been mastered it becomes a way of life for the team.
