ABSTRACT
The ideal, in a ditching situation, will be to step from the aircraft into the liferaft but in reality, this will not always be possible. The perfect situation will be for the aircraft to float long enough that you can get everyone into the slide rafts or get liferafts deployed alongside the wing and for everyone on board to get into a raft without getting wet.
