ABSTRACT
If a company chooses to consolidate first and standardize thereafter, as was the case
with GM, then the sequencing of the phases and the content will vary a little. Our
phasing is based on the ‘standard case’. In a strongly consolidation-driven approach,
the activities inside Phases Two and Three will be mixed and carried out in the order
best suited to the company. This will not change the fact that all content will be
relevant as work packages, possibly with differing weighting though.
