ABSTRACT
The design and implementation phases will always run slightly in parallel. The first
entities or countries being rolled in could be in implementation, while certain process
details or organizational alignments are still being designed (or at least discussed and
decided). Also, implementation will run in parallel with optimization. All countries
rolled into the SSO are, by definition, after their ‘go-live’ in optimization. Other
countries are still to be incorporated and hence are in the design or implementation
stages. The phasing therefore only holds true per entity or country, not for everybody
at the same time.
