ABSTRACT
Virtue ethics is concerned with the character and motivations of a person, and how they will ensure that decisions taken by individuals during their life will be made in pursuit of the greater good. As such, virtue ethics is less about actual outcomes, but rather how we approach our role in determining those outcomes, with the broader argument being that if one follows the path of virtuous ethics, then positive outcomes are most likely to result. In this sense virtue ethics are outcome ethics.
