ABSTRACT

Here is a theological foundation for an ecstatic portrait of human sexuality within Creation itself. Borrowing language from the Catholic Catechism, I locate the significance and embodiment of sexuality within a sacramental economy of God in creation, offering a 'divine cartography' of sexual pleasuring and possibility. The following will present a theological portrait of human sexuality as an expression of God's own self revelation in Creation with particular emphasis given to queer expressions of sexuality as holy.
