ABSTRACT
According to a Gartner Group study, two-thirds of critical corporate data is stored on workstations and laptops and not on servers. This statistic is certainly borne out by investigations and audits conducted by DGI. As will be seen, many organizations have suffered extreme embarrassment and discomfort due to their inattention and neglect of basic desktop security.
