ABSTRACT
Many acts of computer sabotage and vandalism have occurred through negligence or nonexistent exit procedures. It is vital that should an employee be dismissed or suspended from the workplace, his access to key systems and processes should be revoked. Similarly, if fraud or wrongdoing is suspected, computer systems and the data on them should be secured so that the suspect cannot hide or destroy evidence.
