ABSTRACT
The following guidelines address different aspects of operational security and are designed equally to combat a concerted industrial espionage offensive or to mitigate mundane instances of unwitting information disclosure. The guidelines are issued under different categories, some of which focus upon personnel whilst others are technical in nature. Clearly, the decision to follow these guidelines, fully or partially, will be based on a risk assessment.
