ABSTRACT
Relevance and Importance Since all projects and programmes involve aspects such as roles and responsibilities, the relevance and importance of this core image hardly needs stating either. For any project or programme, there are always organizational aspects to consider, and many of these need careful consideration as this chapter will show. Typical examples are roles and responsibilities, team structure, reporting structures, support functions, governance arrangements and so on. But this is not all, for in taking this perspective, the emphasis here is not just on the organizational aspects of projects, but actually a very different way of seeing projects to the other images presented so far. Consider, for example, the Eden Project below.
