ABSTRACT

Good work is an ambiguous concept. It can mean that the frame conditions for the work are good, so that the work environment is right and it is possible to perform the work under satisfactory conditions. It can also mean that the content in the work is good, so that the work is done properly in order for the product to be of good quality. In this chapter, we examine what the content dimension of the work means to the employees, and how the employees relate to the development of values and goals for the quality of the work.
