Planning for adversity is the key to overcoming adversity Risk management strategies identify the potential for adversity and plan to manage the event or situation according to the probability of it occurring. Information services have traditionally considered security and disaster recovery to be the main elements of risk management. There are also other risk issues that should be managed by the information services manager and senior management.
