ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the issues, options and applications of presenting and delivering to a variety of audiences the survey results and findings obtained. Perhaps the first and most important element to understand when beginning work on the first survey report or presentation is the roll-out process—that is the method and sequence by which the results are to be presented to all those involved—and the role and expectations regarding this initial set of findings. The presentation and delivery of feedback results is in and of itself a relatively straightforward process, and assuming that most of the issues and components described above are adequately addressed, there is one more set of issues that needs to be discussed. These pertain primarily to the ethics and responsibilities inherent in the survey feedback process itself. Employees were less positive about the organization's communication of strategic plans, plans for growth and success and how their organization differs from others with the same services.
