ABSTRACT

The purpose of this chapter is to outline the benefits of conducting a post-project review, and to propose guidelines for carrying it out. While consultants and works contractors involved on the project may carry out their own post-project analysis and keep their own records, the focus here is on reviewing the end result and the project process from the perspective of the client organisation. The objective of the post-project review is to provide improved future business benefits for all parties, through shared objective information for ‘continual organisational learning’.
