ABSTRACT
Case 1 On August 21, 1998, II-year old Hans and two friends of the same age were riding their bicycles along the cycle path on Station Street. They accelerated to get through the traffic lights before they turned red. Hans was the only one able to cross the road in time. A small truck, driving in the same direction as the boys, turned right without giving right of way to Hans. The truck hit the little boy, who fell and landed under the truck's wheels. He died immediately.
