ABSTRACT
Undertaking a placement overseas can provide unexpected learning opportunities. These are not only about how interventions are carried out in other countries, but include discovering new insights into the self. In this chapter, I reflect upon my personal learning experiences in Sweden and become aware of aspects of my beliefs and behaviour with regards to my interactions with others who are different from me that I had not been aware of previously.
