ABSTRACT
Our placements were statutory sector ones within the Protective Family Services Team (city office) in the municipality of Greater Victoria. This Team constituted one of the three integrated child protection services that the Ministry of Children and Families (MCF) provide. The team had two types of client groups:
• family service clients (those cases where the child resides with family members); and
• child service clients (those children who were in the care of the MCF).
