ABSTRACT
This Situation Awareness Developmental Workshop was the fourth in a series of developmental workshops conducted by the authors and colleagues in Australia, the USA and the UK since 1995. The first of these was held at the Fourth Australian Aviation Psychology Symposium in November 1995 and is reported in the proceedings of that event (Taylor, Endsley & Henderson, 1996). The second was held at the Ninth International Aviation Psychology Symposium at Columbus, Ohio in 1997 (Hayward, Endsley, Taylor & Henderson, 1997). The third was held at the British Psychological Society Occupational Psychology Conference at Eastboume in January 1998 (Taylor & Henderson, 1998).
