ABSTRACT
It goes without saying that the notion of grace is central to Christian faith. The God of the Christian religion is a God who has revealed his gracious love in and through Jesus Christ in order that man may be saved from sin and be raised beyond the limits of his earthly existence to a supernatural life in communion with God himself. In the Christian understanding, the concept of grace refers to God’s free initiative to enter into a special relationship with man, to restore him from the state of sin and to let him take part in his divine life of bliss.
