ABSTRACT

The principal methodology for achieving integration is ‘structuring’, both of the project and of the organization. This structuring not only provides the framework for integration but also helps in the organization of the project, design of management systems, planning and control, and in managing people. All projects of any significant size depend largely on structuring. In project work this can involve structuring both the project organization and the project itself, and the merging of these two structures to provide a framework for integration.
