ABSTRACT
I will make just a few brief comments about the last two interesting papers that we have just heard - for several reasons. The first is that I am not a specialist in banking history! But perhaps the idea was to have the point of view of a layman in this field. The second reason is that, to respect the two official languages of this conference - I mean English and English - of course I am going to speak in English. This is bad news for you and for me.
