Overseas Banking in Latin America: Personal Reflections on the 1950s and 1960s

This paper is more in the nature of a personal memoir than a dissertation based upon documentary research: recollections of working in branches of a foreign bank in Brazil and Argentina, but with a background of general knowledge of events in the other countries of Latin America in the years following the end of the Second World War. I take the story up to about 1970.
