ABSTRACT
It is important to spend time closing at the end of an event, particularly if it has lasted a few days and participants have had to work closely together. I always allow time for participants to say goodbye both to the members of their own team and to the whole group. If participants have been away for a number of days it is worth reminding them to take care when driving and as they re-enter home life.
